Steps

How It Works

Vehicle Inspection & Prep

We inspect your paint and glass surfaces, then perform a thorough cleaning to remove dirt, dust, and debris, ensuring a perfectly clean surface for film adhesion.

Film Selection & Consultation

We recommend the ideal film type, finish, and level of protection based on your vehicle, your driving habits, and California's road conditions. We've got options from full-body coverage to targeted high-impact zones.

Precision Installation

Your selected film is precision-cut and hand-applied to each section using professional-grade tools and techniques. Every edge is tucked, every bubble is worked out, every panel gets detailed attention.

Final Inspection & Curing

After installation, we conduct a complete vehicle check for flawless coverage and clarity. The PPF cures for 48-72 hours, and we'll send you home with clear aftercare instructions to ensure lasting results.

Everything You Need to Know

Frequently Asked Questions

What is PPF (Paint Protection Film)?

PPF is a clear, durable thermoplastic urethane film applied to your vehicle’s painted surfaces. It acts as an invisible shield against rock chips, scratches, bug splatter, bird droppings, tree sap, and UV damage. The best part? It’s self-healing—minor scratches disappear with heat from the sun or warm water.

Installation time depends on your coverage package. A front-end package (hood, bumper, fenders, mirrors) typically takes 1-2 days. Full-body coverage can take 3-5+ days to ensure every panel is perfectly applied without rushing.

PPF is a physical barrier—an 8-mil thick film that absorbs impacts and prevents rock chips from reaching your paint. Ceramic coating is a liquid-applied layer that provides hydrophobic properties, UV protection, and easier cleaning, but won’t stop a rock chip. Many of our customers combine both for the ultimate protection: PPF for impact defense, ceramic coating for shine and maintenance.

ClearPlex is a clear protective film applied to your windshield to guard against rock chips, cracks, and pitting. It absorbs the impact that would otherwise damage your glass, and it’s optically clear so it won’t affect your visibility.

With proper care, quality PPF lasts 7-10+ years. Our installations come with a manufacturer’s lifetime warranty, and we typically recommend reassessing coverage around the 7-10 year mark depending on exposure and driving conditions.

Wait 48-72 hours before washing to allow full curing. After that, hand washing or touchless car washes are ideal. Avoid high-pressure sprayers directly on film edges. We’ll provide detailed care instructions when you pick up your vehicle.

Pricing varies based on vehicle size and coverage area. Front-end packages typically start around $1,500-$2,500, while full-body coverage ranges from $5,000-$8,000+ depending on the vehicle. Contact us for a custom quote tailored to your specific make and model.
